Originally founded in 1981, Gibsons Home Furnishings initially operated out of the back of the founder’s pickup truck. Since then, the business has changed owners and found a permanent home. Gibsons has successfully diversified product offerings and increased our custom furniture offerings for over 40 years! Terry Numan is now the President of the company and our journey continues. 


Gibsons remains a purveyor of both quality handcrafted solid wood furniture and home décor pieces for the discerning customer with great taste and a penchant for good quality.  We offer custom Canadian-made upholstered furniture in addition to the same great solid wood furniture and home décor you know and love.


Our furniture is handcrafted from solid wood. We offer custom-designed pieces in a variety of woods, including maple, wormy maple, cherry, walnut, white oak, red oak and pine. Our furniture is built by hand, in-house, using high quality materials and traditional joinery. From a solid wood harvest dining table to dovetailed drawer boxes, a complete bedroom set to a unique cherry desk with a custom finish, at Gibsons you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for.
